Conceptual spaces as a bridge between symbolic and connectionist representations of knowledge

This is an essay I completed for the "Linguistics for Cognitive Science" course as a B.Sc. Student at the Unversity of Tübingen. I analysed a robot's cognitive architecture to understadn how two distinct research traditions —connectionist vs. symbolic approaches to knowledge representation— can come together under the framework of conceptual spaces.
